CAMPING
Proud Lake State Recreation Area
There is a modern (interpret as "tightly packed")
campground on the south side of Proud Lake State
Recreation Area that allows for tents and
trailers/RVs. I believe it also has two
minicabins.
CABINS
Proud Lake State Recreation Area
There are super cool little "tiny house" Camping Cabins
(named "Trillium" & "Ivy") on Powers Beach, and, for
groups, River Hawk Lodge (sleeps 24). There are
alluring pics of
the mini cabins and River hawk Lodge

see the pics). If someone wants to rent Riverhawk
Lodge and make space open to others, I'll help let
people know.
Highland State Recreation Area ~
Bass Lake Lodge
Highland State Recreation
area has a cabin available for rental, which sleeps 6
and has a kitchen and bathroom. I'd advise
booking as early as possible to ensure availability.
If someone wanted to rent this and wanted me to let
other participants know so they could split the costs,
I'd be happy to. Google maps says it's
16 minutes away from
the class location at Proud Lake State Rec Area.
